Crank it Up!
This place rocks! The theme this year? “iGod – Crank Up The Volume”.
At registration time, the students collected their name badge, turned in final papers, picked up a nifty T-shirt and checked in with the nurse…
… and then headed outside for games led by the YMCA staff until everyone had checked in. No standing around necessary!
During the ice breakers, the students identify that they’ve found a partner for whatever mayhem is about to ensue:
The presentation was a combination of silliness and hilarity. Improv acting, a la Whose Line is it Anyway. A moral to the story? Expectations…
The silliness of the night concluded with activities by cabin groups: compose and perform a song in any style, about something that happens at camp. Use improvised instruments, if you like. You have 10 minutes. Go!
Stay tuned for more!

Wow. What a cool site! It’s like I’m there, but without the bugs (definitely my kinda camp). Make sure the photographer gets in a picture or two, OK?

Cool! I’m in 8th grade, but I can’t wait to go. My first year I will be going with my sister for her last year.
