Look Who’s Coming to Camp!
We are pleased to say that we will have some very special guests at DYMO Camp this year! Who? Well, we spoke with the agent for one of the twelve apostles, and everything looks good for his appearance. We have several guys lined up who have been known to wear white plastic tabs at their necks. (It’s rare to see so many in the same place at the same time.) The tax collector promises to be very interesting. Of course, Jesus will be here, live and in person, (but that’s no surprise).
Why are all of these people showing up to Camp? Because of the students. To give them a step up on life. To support and nourish faith in this fun-filled, non-threatening environment. To build community, have a good time, hang out, sing and dance. And to remind each of us that “God’s not finished with me yet,” which is both a challenging and comforting thing to keep in mind.
